Hurricane Ridge Havana Silks, like other professional and health conscious breeders, is dedicated to restoring the Havana Silk Dog: a new name for an old breed. The Havana Silk Dog was originally developed in Cuba and is known for its great herding instincts as well as being a wonderful family dog. With its smaller features, athletic quickness and silky drop coat, the Havana Silk is a most enjoyable and clever dog. Hurricane Ridge Havana Silk Dogs conform to the HSDAA Standard and are eligible for registration as Havana Silk Dogs by the Havana Silk Dog Association of America. The Havana Silk Dog is a rare breed and currently seeking to become recognized by the AKC.

PUPPY NEWS! : 2 companion puppies still available!!!!

We are excited to announce the San Juan Islands Litter whelped May 25, 2010 by our Isabella Tisza and Ch. Bydand in the Mood at Concordia "Curtis" (owned by Frank & Helen Conticchio). Come view their pride and joy! These puppies are available to go to their forever homes by August 3, 2010. Lopez, Shaw & Sucia have all been spoken for but Eliza is available as a companion puppy.

Hurricane Ridge's Charly Girl (Ally) was also bred to Curtis the week of April 19 and her litter was whelped by June 19 (4 days before her 2nd birthday!). Her puppies are available to go home the weekend of August 28, 2010. Hope is already spoken for but Faith is available as a companion puppy.

If interested in a puppy from either of these litters watch the puppy pages to see them grow or inquire for an application.

We are so impressed with the consistency and quality of this litter that we will be doing a repeat breeding in the Fall/Winter of Izzy x Curtis. Please inquire if interested.

The Sumner Motor Inn is conveniently located in the small city of Sumner, WA. About a 35 minute drive from Sea-Tac Airport and less than 1 hour from Seattle, they are located away from all the noise. They offer 39 rooms that have Queen, King, 2 Doubles, and Kitchen rooms with two beds. All of there reasonably priced rooms come with a fridge and microwave along with irons and blow dryers upon request.

Winter Rates (April-September/slightly higher for the show):

Queen: 60+tax
King: 65+tax
Double: 75+tax
Kitchenette: 75+tax
